Hannah and Mitch indulge in a modern wedding with a (champagne) shot of Montana. Our sister company, Wild Montana Wedding, orchestrated the big picture vibes while also making sure the intricate details were noticed for this modern Montana wedding. One of Wild Montana’s proudest planning highlights is the carefully sourced wildflowers which were woven in several wedding elements. By several we mean – the bouquet, dozens of centerpieces, hanging down from the tent ceiling, topping the cake, strewn in petal form leading the aisle, and as Ellie (their four legged, show stealing pup)’s collar. Our girl Hannah said she wanted a wildflower wonderland and that’s what she got! Shoutout to the incredible Foolish Blooms Farm, TBH we didn’t even know that many wildflowers could exist in one place!
Hannah and Mitch started as friends before their relationship blossomed (see what we did there?) into a full blown love affair. One wedding day would not be enough for this couple! Their friends and family gather from all corners of the country for a WEEK of epic fun! Two families were truly blended at their modern Montana wedding.
We Pay Homage to the Dress at this Modern Montana Wedding
We’ve seen a LOT of wedding dresses but Hannah’s wedding dress is beyond extraordinary. As with her wedding vibe, her dress is modern elegance paired with kick ass white boots. A woman ready to party! As mentioned in our Luxury Winter Elopement blog, a dress says SO much about a bride. Hannah’s one sided shoulder bow is on trend for 2023-2024 and showcases her uniqueness. It’s a statement piece that she pulls off seamlessly. A combination of both glamorous as well as subtle details is key. The luxury vision is exclusive, thought provoking, and every detail thoroughly considered.
Mitch rocks a striking blue suit, with, you guessed it – a wildflower boutonniere. Wild Monotana understood the assignment. Bridesmaids compliment the fall foliage in the area with velvet desaturated blush pinks. Throw your hands up if you’re a sucker for fall foliage. So gorgeous.
Ceremony & Reception
They say the best laid plans….. In typical Montana fashion, the unpredictable weather comes for a visit, which is why we prepare! This is a pro tip to ALWAYS create a rain plan when planning a modern Montana wedding. Montana is a wild animal and we love her.
After the ceremony, Mitch does the honors of the CLASSIC champagne pop and starts the champagne tower. Amidst this, the bar from Split Rock Cafe, a light blue old Chevy, rocks the bar situation with classy cocktails and local beers/wines.
Their ceremony is heartfelt, the air fills with happy tears and the sparkling promise of a beautiful journey ahead. There is no better way to ride in style than a Molly’s Trolley, thanks to Three Dog Down! It makes for GREAT photos, no drunk drivers, and really is the difference between a modern wedding and a traditional wedding.
As the sun begins to set, casting a moody glow, we capture the couple by the pond with both Ellie and a pair of lanterns. For tonight, the world is theirs.
