Becky and Connor’s Glacier Homestead wedding is an absolute dream! Waaaay back in 2022, they came to Glacier National Park last year for their hiking proposal! We capture the entire thing! They love it so much, they decide to come back to Montana for their wedding! I’m pretty sure Carol (Becky’s mom), Becky and I have messaged back and forth on instagram for like two years! It’s so wonderful to be here on wedding day finallyyyyy! It’s unfair to quick recap this extraordinary day sooo… Here we goooo!
Becky & Connor’s wedding takes place in the EPIC Glacier National Park! We start at Glacier Homestead with our sweet couple getting ready with their favorite family and friends! They ran away from a big wedding and decided on something intentional and intimate instead. We meet their families and they are LOVELY! Becky did a first look with her dad, Larry, and they both started crying, which made US start to cry! In the sunshine, it is an absolutely heartfelt, sweet moment.
Both Becky & Connor come from a big family of sisters. Becky is the youngest, while Connor is the oldest. Their first look takes place next to the pond, where we see little goslings! They opt for a private vow exchange before their ceremony. We find a private spot by the pond where they take out their vows and share it between them. Not gonna lie, some happy tears are shed!
Pro tip: a Glacier Homestead Wedding is incomplete without a trip into Glacier National Park
The park isn’t very busy (YAAAAY)! The wind is really working Becky’s wedding dress of chiffon and we looooove when the wind picks the train up! The waters are crystal clear blue! We laugh, capture them in the stunning nature, and let them soak in the pre-wedding feelings!
Getting married in Glacier National Park means you can have a ceremony at one of the designated spots. Their ceremony is on the shores of Lake McDonald. We help them choose this spot as part of our location matchmaking process during the pre-wedding planning! Our goal is to allow B&C to just show up and get married!
Next, we arrive back at Glacier Homestead! Our team at Wild Montana Wedding finished the entire setup! Waiting for them were buffalo sliders with bacon jam, crab cakes, and other phenomenal finger foods! Thank youuuuu Great Northwest Catering.
Quality time = family time
Everyone sits together and eats a VERY Montana centered meal while Hannah King plays. They cut a small cake and some desserts afterward. Sunset photos happen next with a special guest, a horse!
At the end of the night, we say goodbye to our couple. These two are SO NICE! Their families are so kind and welcoming. They tell us how excited they are for us to capture the day since we also photographed their proposal! It was juuuust very very sweet!
