Spring elopements in Glacier National Park can be absolutely stunning, much cooler in temperature, and you can have Lake McDonald all to yourself. Sure, the weather is more unpredictable. However, if you’re adventurous and don’t mind a spot of snow, it’s a great time to visit the park. The Going to the Sun Road opens by early July, but Lake McDonald Lodge and Trail of the Cedars is usually open in the spring. This Glacier National Park spring elopement is really the best of the best if you’re looking for seclusion in the park. These two flew themselves and their family in to Montana for a wedding day to remember. They also spent a mini vacay with their favorite people!

their favorite wedding details

Krista & Peyton’s favorite wedding details were writing their own vows. They had always known that they wanted to write their own vows to each other and reciting them was one moment that will last with them both forever. They both married their best friend and have a husband and wife forever. At the end of the day, anything could happen and they would still have each other.

Krista put together every flower in the wedding, from her gorgeous bouquet, her flower crown, boutonnieres, and corsages. She really wanted to bring out her crafty side and it was really special for her knowing she had a hand in each of them.
