Caleb & Laura’s National Park Proposal in Glacier started looooong before that 4 mile hike up to the gorgeous mountain lake where he got down on one knee! Caleb reached out to me a week before they left for their trip to Montana! The hike is great, view is epic, and she says YES!

He had her in mind from the very beginning! They love adventuring together, so the trip to Montana was the best place to pop the question! The weather at the end of May is pretty unpredictable, and when I brought up non-hiking options to Caleb, he’s determined to make it happen! “We are all in for plan A,” he says! He wants an awesome hike with a great view and I know EXACTLY the best spot in Glacier National Park to pull off the most epic hiking proposal of all time! It doesn’t disappoint.

How do I get those amazing photos without being seen?! I hike the trail 30-45 minutes before my couple and I have a selfie of them on my phone so I know who to look for! I’m full on stealth mode, sitting in the rain like a crazy person, waiting for them to get to the lake. They get there, I have my camera (and iphone video) at the ready, and then Caleb gets down on one knee! It’s a shock to Laura, but she says YES! She can’t wipe the smile off her face and it’s the cutest thing!
Everyone who knows me knows I’m kinda obsessed with proposals because of the JOY, the SURPRISE! It’s like planning the best surprise party of all time! I looooove planning surprise parties and so being a part of proposals is totally up my ally! I even brought a change of clothes (with heels) and the champagne bottle up a mountain for a proposal before! Who wouldn’t want epic photos of one of the best surprises everrrrr?! Ok let’s be honest, there’s a LOT of pressure riding on the perfect proposal, right? You have to find the perfect spot, you have to get up there without ruining the surprise and you have to capture it with epic photos and videos! This is why I love to help with the perfect location, the stealth mode and OBVI the best photos!

After the proposal, I bring out the champagne that I bring up the trail with me! They pop the champagne, we explore more of the trail and we get some adorable af photos! The deer around here are friendly and one of the deer wants to celebrate the proposal just as much as we do! Maybe he’s into champagne! Jk jk jk don’t feed (or cheers with) the wildlife! 🙂
