Why you need an adventure session

When you go out with us for an adventure session, it’s waaaay more than just a photoshoot. Our sessions are usually 2-3 hours long and involve all the adventure you can handle. We’ll hike, explore, get out in nature, and get another chance to celebrate you two as newlyweds. Of all the reasons you need an time with each other and pictures to document this epic time, the best one is that HEEEEY you deserve it! It’s basically as much fun as a vacation you would probably be having even without the cameras around!

Definition of adventure session: a super fun date dedicated to adventure and documenting your beautiful love.

These moments can be engagements, celebrating anniversaries, to propose, or just because you’re two travel nerds who love the hell outta each other. If you’re travel bugs like we are, then we KNOW you have your bucket list travel destinations memorized! This is a great time to get on that plane and let us document it for you!

This epic session can take place just about anywhere and would be a great way to remember your honeymoon! From National Parks to around the globe, we are here for any experience you can dream of. Popping a bottle of champagne in Glacier National Park while the sun sets behind the massive mountains, strolling along the beach in Mexico, hiking the epic volcanoes of Iceland, climbing a via feratta in the Italian Dolomites. 1. YOU CAN HAVE PHOTOS & VIDEO FROM YOUR BUCKET LIST DESTINATION

If deep down, you wish you could elope, but you have way too many family and friends you need at your wedding to make this a possibility… your own epic experience is something you’re definitely going to need. It gives you the opportunity to explore somewhere gorgeous and spend more quality time with your new spouse. You get to enjoy your new marriage and celebrate it in a truly special way.

2. LESS STRESS ON YOUR WEDDING DAY

Obviously, anything we can do to lower your stress on your wedding day is a MUST. There is SO much going on they day you’re getting married. Family and friends have traveled from all over the place to see you. You are planning a large event that you’ve never done before. You’re all over the place. A great way to ditch some of that unneeded stress is to move most of the bride and groom portraits to the next day (or week or month). That way, you free up time to giggle a little more with your girls. Pop that extra bottle of bubbly for the champagne toasts. Sneak away with your new spouse for a few minutes to be completely alone. Less portraits day of means more time with your guests and loved ones. Not to mention more time at your own party!

3. YOU GET AN EXTRA DAY TO CELEBRATE

Aaaaand unlike your wedding day, this day is intimate and relaxed. No one is telling you where to go, that we’re late, or that Uncle Earnie is getting too drunk. You just get to explore and have a blast being in love. Plus, there’s nothing quite like hiking up to an epic overlook to see the sun going down or the sun coming up. That alpine glow is so peaceful and epic all at once.

Now you can have your cake and eat it too. We love first looks because you get your wedding photos out of the way earlier in the day and then you can go straight into your party. This way, you can have the magical “down the aisle” feels WITH all the time in the world to get epic portraits and video.

6. YOU CAN HAVE AN ADVENTURE FILM TO WATCH AND LISTEN TO YOUR VOWS OVER AND OVER

Pictures are beautiful, but video captures movement and sound in a way that will bring up ALL the happy tears! You can have this once-in-a-lifetime day filmed and be listening to the vows you are making to each other at the same time. Trust me… we’ll ALL need tissues watching it!
