2 popped bottles of champagne. 1 eagle flies over their ceremony. 20 guests. 5am sunrise. 1 marmot. 6 hours of awesomeness. Get Schwifty. #rickandmorty Travis and Abby’s Glacier National Park elopement at Saint Mary is such a rush. It’s days like this that we really appreciate the trust that each and every couple puts in us to capture their once in a lifetime adventure.

We meet Abby at three in the morning at the St. Mary Village and capture her getting ready. What we love most about elopements is that our couples make their day whatever they want. They include wedding traditions in their elopement day, like the father/daughter first look. When her dad turns around to see her coming down the stairs in her drop dead gorgeous wedding dress, it’s safe to say everybody balled their eyes out. Don’t mind us. Just sobbing behind the camera here. Nothing to see.

It’s still dark when we get in the car. We drive up the winding canyon road to the Rising Sun Picnic area. It’s one of the most secluded Glacier National Park ceremony locations and it was all ours. Even though it was smoky the last few days, when the sun rises above the mountains, the skies turn pink. BAM! Magical sunset. We timed it perfectly!

you can feeeel their excitement

Travis sees Abby for the first time and gets the biggest smile on his face. Abby walked down the aisle with her dad (hint, hint another wedding tradition you can include in your day). They say their heartfelt vows to each other and commit their lives to one another. We find that the intention behind an elopement is love in its purest form. It’s about promising forever to the love of your life in a natural and authentic way. Their Glacier National Park elopement at Saint Mary is hands down the best way to get them eloped!

After some family photos with these amazing human beings who pulled all nighters or woke up at 1am to be there with us, we kidnap the couple and adventure around Logan Pass!

We take photos, we find an awesome waterfall, we twirl, we get wet, we pop some champagne, we laugh constantly. Of the 100 things you to do on an elopement day, these two crossed some things off the list!

Abby & Travis, you two are freaking soul mates and your energy is contagious. Thank you for making our day so fun and letting us be a part of your love story!
