We waited for a loooong time for a contemporary, elegant, wild, LGBTQ elopement to come our way. Kristen, with Agile Goat Flower Farm, pulled out all the stops with the gold pedestals, dried flowers, and pampas grass for days. As soon as we set up the modern elopement ceremony spot, we knew it is the perfect setup.
Embracing diversity with this LGBTQ Elopement inspiration
Months beforehand, we want to embrace the diversity that lives around us. We see a lot of white male and female couples in Montana, and we love them dearly. Our LGBTQ friends are special, amazing, and worth celebrating, sooooo we plan to celebrate their diversity with this mountain elopement inspiration. The definition of “feminine” in most wedding spaces means a white dress. We want the chance to highlight the fact that not everyone fits in this mold. We find a white suit that fit perfectly, while Velvet Bride help us out with the most beautiful wedding dress.
The wind and rain rip through the canyon and with the weather being as bad as it is, this shoot could’ve been cancelled. We cancelled it once already due to the heavy smoke, but we are determined to make it happen this time. And thank goodness it happened!
Surprise Proposal Story
Tracy proposes to Bethany and it was the most magical thing. There on the cliff, the wind rips through the canyon. The energy is absolutely tangible. Tracy gets down on one knee and holds out Bethany’s ring to her. The world just stops. Just stops. The wind feels like it is frozen in place and it is just these two in the world together. Everything else just disappears and it is just the two of them. It is one person asking another person for their hand in marriage. One person asking another person to be married forever. To be their person. Capturing the two of them on this mountain and in this moment is magical. It is electric.
