We’ve ALWAYS loved winter, especially in Montana where the snow is so gorgeous and there are frozen rivers to explore! These two made freezing outside during their winter adventure session even more fun.
Thankfully, our schedules lined up when we were on a trip to Bozeman for a wedding. We were able to meet up for a super sweet and snuggly adventure session. This is the life of a traveling adventure photographer, right?!
We’re still swooning over these two and had a freaking BLAST in every attempt to stay warm! Insert all the cuddles please.
They met through their work and only Mateo knew that this would become something more. He waited not so patiently while they became friends. After months, he almost gave up, but then something magical happened. Kristen felt things for him too.
Pro tip: when planning a winter adventure elopement, be sure to have locations where you can warm up!
When we told them about the romantic Igloos at Moonlight Basin that we were dying to photograph, they were totally in. When we arrived, we scouted Ousel Falls and absolutely “fell” (see what we did there?) in love. The frozen icicles were something out of Game of Thrones. There’s no better place for a winter adventure session.
